Here are some reasons why we are different from the rest:
In most cases the owner of our company will guide you personally. It is always our goal to give our clients a fantastic time with us, so they recommend us to their fellow travellers as a "must-do" activity in Auckland and New Zealand.
We can offer you single kayaks or double kayaks - your choice! We don’t know of any other kayaking company that offers this, i.e. normally you have to sit in double kayaks (also referred to as “divorce boats”) during kayak tours in New Zealand, whether you like it or not.
Our kayaks are all of the highest quality and are very new. This extends of course to the very best lifejackets, paddles and all other safety equipment such as emergency flares, coastguard communication, VHF Radio etc to ensure your safety.
Very small groups. Normally most kayak operators take out (on average) 10 clients per tour (5 double kayaks). For reasons of safety and keeping it all very personal, we take out a maximum of 6 kayakers on any tour and are also able to offer exclusive tours - just ask us!
Extremely stable and high-quality sit-on kayaks. Should you fall in, you will NOT be potentially trapped underwater unable to get out, as you could be in classical sea kayaks with spray-deck etc. Instead, you would just fall off and we can get you back in very easily. This happens very rarely. If you prefer, we can also offer you a sit-in sea-kayak during our Auckland Kayak Adventure Tours.
We have a perfect 100% safety record and with our extensive training and the very best equipment, we intend to keep it that way.
